ISO Audits
- Marise is a contract Lead Auditor for SAI Global assessing health and human service organisations under the ISO 9001:2008 framework. Marise completes some 20 to 30 of these audits a year.
Nurse Advisor Role
- Marise is on the Department of Health and Ageing Panel of Nurse Advisors and is available to assist residential aged care services to regain compliance against the Aged Care Accreditation Standards in situations where serious risk and multiple non-compliances have been identified.
Facilitation and Training
- Leslie and Marise deliver between them, some 20 to 30 workshops a year to the residential aged care and community aged care sectors.
2009
- DoHA: Evaluation of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Aged Care Workforce Development Initiative in the Northern Territory (NT)
- DoHA: Pilot of the Draft Community Care Common Standards and Reporting Processes across Jurisdictions and Programs in Australia
- OATSIH: Evaluation of Dual Accreditation in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and development of an Accreditation Manual to support organisations in assessing the appropriateness of standards frameworks to their organisation
- Nurse Advisor for a large multiple site residential aged care service - rectifying over 30 non-compliant outcomes and serious risk.
2008
- DoHA: Northern Territory Community Care Client Pathways and Infrastructure Mapping Project - to identify potential Access Points for the NT
- Western Australian Country Health Services: Leading Practice Project -
involved the conduct of on-site assessments in 22 sites in 2005 and in 53 sites in 2008 against the Aged Care Accreditation Standards (2 & 3) through face to face consultation. (2005 and 2008)
