Marise Goddard-Jones | Leslie Gevers |
Marise Goddard Jones is a Registered Nurse, Lead Auditor (ISO - Quality Management Systems), and Aged Care Quality Assessor. Marise has extensive nursing experience including oncology, palliative care, quality and nursing management. She is a management systems consultant and is experienced in implementing systems to meet the requirements of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards, ISO 9001 and ACHS EQuIP. Marise also has qualifications in Infection Control and is an Eden Alternative Associate.
Marise has conducted many aged care accreditation assessments and support visits and also works as a Lead Auditor for SAI Global Assurance Services auditing against the ISO 9001 standards in a range of health care settings. Marise is on the Department of Health and Ageing Panel of Nurse Advisors and provides support to residential aged care services who require assistance in addressing non-compliance against the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and other elements of the Aged Care Act 1997.
Together with Leslie, Marise has published 'Continuous Improvement in Aged Care Services' - a book to guide aged care services in their pursuit of quality care delivery through the application of sustainable management system practices.
Leslie Gevers has qualifications in psychology, social work and computer science and has many years experience in these areas. He has nearly 20 years experience as a consultant in the human services sector and prior to this worked in the non-government sector.
Leslie is author of Managing a Community Organisation in Australia, which is widely used throughout Australia in community organisations and in education centres. Together with Marise, Leslie has published 'Continuous Improvement in Aged Care Services.
Leslie also has previous experience as an Aged Care Quality Assessor and has conducted numerous accreditation assessments and support visits. In addition, Leslie has conducted some 200 reviews and evaluations in the human services sector.
Leslie, with Marise, is responsible for implementing and overseeing all GGJ projects and provides IT support and processing and analysis of data.
Contracted Consultants:
Sharron Glasgow is our Project Manager. She is in her first year with GGJ and brings highly developed skills in project management and research to our projects.
Ann-Marie Phegley is a registered nurse and has a wealth of experience assessing health and human service organisations against a range of accreditation frameworks including ISO 9001 and the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Shirley Glasgow is a registered nurse has many years experience assessing organisations against the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Community Care Standards and has worked extensively with Marise in the nurse advisor role. Shirley has a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
Carole Bain is a registered nurse and has extensive experience in the community and residential care sector and is an Aged Care Quality Assessor.
Susan Clarke is a registered nurse and has many years experience assessing against the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and has worked extensively with a range of aged care services to improve performance. Susan is also on the Department of Health and Ageing Nurse Advisor Panel.
Project Support
Jacqui Hartill is our senior Project Officer. She has worked with GGJ for 3 years and is an accomplished researcher, organiser and interviewer.
Jennifer Stone is a Project Officer with GGJ. Jenny has worked on several projects with GGJ coordinating and conducting interviews, visits and collating data.
Shirley Tuffley has worked for GGJ for twelve years and is exceptionally skilled in word processing and document compilation. She is the administrative backbone of Gevers Goddard Jones and is the person at the forefront of community contact.
